Rogue Trader Army

Vhane decides to seek out the aid of Draik for some mission.  The exact fluff details of this decision would depend on what the opposition forces available are.  The only models I currently have for opposition are what comes with Kill Team: Rogue Trader, Blackstone Fortress and its expansions as well as the Start Collecting Chaos Space Marines.  So, for the foreseeable future my gaming group and I will just be doing small scale battles against Chaos & misc., presumably in or around Blackstone Fortress.

En route to the Blackstone Fortress, Vhane attempted to use the level of authority granted to her by her Warrant of Trade to requisition Imperial forces.  Vhane first tried to secure a force of Catachan 2nd 'Night Vipers' Jungle Fighters from General Greiss with the Third Ryza Warzone Fleet.  Greiss could not spare a unit, but Vhane being a Rogue Trader, Geiss offered his personal bodyguard Deddog.  Vhane talked him into "at least twice as many soldiers", resulting in Greiss offering him any one additional guardsman.  More informed than expected, Vhane of course chose Marbo.

Vhane then tried to secure a force of Necromundan Guard from Planetary Governor Lord Gerontius Helmawr, but got nowhere.  Even tried to get Imperial Fists from the Spear of Dorn.  Fearing that the writing was on the wall and she might end up with no significant Imperial force to bolster her retinue, Vhane turned to the Hive Primus underhive.  Vhane was able to assemble a motley force of bounty hunters and hive scum as well as some hangers-on and brutes.

Hoping that the third time would be the charm, Vhane tried one last time to secure a force from the Bale Stars Crusade High Command, but Lord-Marshal Veris Drake again had no units to spare.  Vhane talked Drake into at least giving her commissar with the most combat experience as well as the most experience with psykers: Raine.  Someone who could come in handy with her Necromundans.

If we end up with more choices for opposition forces, it could instead be Draik and the others making the stops looking for Imperial forces to requisition on their way to join Vhane.

As for Draxus, she is chasing a Skorpekh Lord.  Draxus recruited Eisenhorn, Lok, Stern and Kyganil, and not a far stretch to have the outcast Nightspear who hates Necron join them.  She also took Damien 1427 with nearly a full squad of Arco-Flagellants from Inquisitor Rychus Blane.  Draxus is aided by the Technomandrites of Magistrakh as well, who have sent Amnothek with a canoptek escort.

Draik's Freebooterz include not just the Flash Gitz, but a squad of Ork Kommandos called Kunnin' Gitz.  Sneaky, kunnin' killers deemed un-orky for being cold, cruel and unsettlingly ruthless.  Lok brings his squad of Death Korps of Krieg veteran guardsmen named the Death Dealers.  Serving the inquisitor, they are ghosts who have been removed from all records and don't officially exist.  An unproven squad of Battle Sisters Novitiates self-titled Guardians of the Heroine Unbowed follows Stern.  Although they have yet to see war, they are fanatical in their devotion to Stern and will not retreat, back down or concede defeat if Stern still fights.  Draxus has a squad of T'au Pathfinders named the Ghostmoons.  They are survivors of the Ka'mais Sept destroyed by Necrons and have joined Draxus in their quest for vengeance, wishing to revisit their suffering in kind.  Similar to the Ranger Pathfinders called Starstriders that normally follow him, Nightspear is escorted by a squad of Corsair Voidscarred called the Star Reavers.  They are lethal assassins from varied origins that are bonded in blood to Nightspear, having seen much horror and bloodshed at his side.  Draxus also brings a team of Imperial Navy Voidbreachers that are highly adaptable to unusual situations and make extensive use of hit and run tactics, traps, diversionary attacks and feints.  Grekh calls on the aid of a Farstalker kinband who are wily shadow fighters, using deception and misdirection to confound their enemies.  Draxus also has a squad of Cadian Kasrkin iron-hard killers that are forward ops experts, highly trained in rapid movement, close-quarters combat and reconnaissance operations.
